Description
to my amazement this morning i noticed the start of a flytrap flower growing straight up from my plant! (*fullview please*) i have read that sometimes the flytrap plant will produce a flower that grows up higher than the leaves to attract insects to the plant... i was wondering why my leaves seemed longer and thinner, i thought it was dying, but growing these flowers takes a lot of energy for this small plant and it's actually better to prune them off - i've never seen one in real life so i'm going to let mine mature of course, but then i'll also have seeds woo hoo! Wow, what a special picture. I've never seen these kind of flowers before. Will the plant survive this effort?
